Picture Of the Month - August

On July 24, 2005 my brother and I took our father to BeaveRun Racetrack just west of Pittsburgh for his birthday/Father's Day gift. We attended the Bertil Roos Racing School class to learn about open-wheel racing and then race Formula 2000 race cars! Reaching speeds in excess of 100mph, it was an exhilarating experience. 

Anthony Spinelli (friend of the family), Dave, Don Sr., and Don Jr. take a break from the racing to enjoy a fine cigar.

Here you can see Don Gilbert, Jr. giving advice to 7-time World Champion Formula 1 driver of Ferrari, Michael Schumacher, after Don's experience behind the wheel.
